The scent is exactly what I hoped for—the bergamot cuts through the black tea base so the room smells clean, not cloying. Burned it for a couple of hours during a quiet afternoon and the throw filled the whole living space without feeling heavy.
I lit this before guests arrived and the maté note grounds the whole room without being heavy. The burn is clean and even, and the black tea with bergamot reads more soothing than sharp, which I didn't expect.
The bergamot hits right away, bright and citrusy, but the black tea and maté settle in underneath so it never feels sharp. Burned it during a rainy afternoon and my whole apartment smelled like a calm, clean tea house. Even the cold throw is noticeable, which I didn't expect.
